Bob Sell’s passion for powersports began in the fall of 1964 and has shaped his career ever since. In the early 1970s, Bob started working in his father’s business, W.E. Sell Sporting Goods in Hanover, where his love for both snowmobiling and boating took root.

In August of 1987, Bob Sell and Terry Frock (forming the name F&S) purchased the inventory and tooling from a retiring Yamaha dealer, laying the foundation for what is now F&S Yamaha and Marine. Bob has extensive factory training in outboard motors, including Evinrude, Johnson, and Yamaha, as well as Yamaha snowmobiles. Bob comes from a service background and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of service, from repowers to routine maintenance.

In addition to his professional expertise, Bob maintains an impressive collection of vintage snowmobiles and outboards. His knowledge, experience, and lifelong passion for the industry are unmistakable.

Andy Sell is the go-to expert for all things fishing boats. Andy started at F&S in 1993 and brings unmatched knowledge and insight into the entire fishing boat lineup. He is also highly skilled in the latest marine electronics, including Humminbird, Garmin, Minn Kota trolling motors, Power Pole, and Miller Tech Lithium Batteries.

Andy also comes from a service background and is a certified technician with factory training. Andy stays up to date on the newest technology, gear, and accessories, both on the water and in the snowmobile world. When he’s not helping customers find the perfect fishing boat, you’ll find Andy mountain biking or snowmobiling up north. Make sure you give Andy a call for all your Xpress or Smoker Craft needs!

Tim Wilt is your go-to guy for Pontoon Boats. Tim started at F&S in 2008 and he knows the pontoon industry inside and out. Tim also works with used boats, outboard motors, and snowmobile gear, making him a great resource no matter what you’re shopping for.

He comes from a motorsports background, growing up around his family’s longtime motorcycle business in Hanover. When Tim’s not at the dealership, you’ll usually find him traveling and enjoying time away with his wife. Call Tim for all your pontoon needs!

Barry Hesson is a seasoned veteran at F&S and a cornerstone of our team. Barry started at F&S in 1992 and when Bob first opened F&S, Barry was his very first employee. As Barry likes to say, he has spent his entire life “riding, racing, and wrenching” on motorcycles and snowmobiles.

Prior to joining F&S, Barry built extensive experience in sales, service, and management within the motorcycle, snowmobile, and boating industries at another Yamaha dealership. His deep industry knowledge, long-standing loyalty, and passion for powersports continue to make him an invaluable part of the F&S family.

Bob Hamm started at F&S in 2001 and is one of F&S’s Certified Outboard Master Technicians. Achieving Yamaha Certified Technician status is no small accomplishment, and F&S is proud to have Bob as part of the team. To maintain his certification and stay current with the latest technology, Bob attends Yamaha training courses every other year.

In addition to his technical expertise, Bob oversees the hauling and off-season storage of hundreds of boats, ensuring they are handled with care and precision. Bob has been boating and snowmobiling since a young age, and his personal collection of boats and snowmobiles reflects his deep passion for the industry.

Drew is the expert who turns Xpress boat dreams into reality. Drew started here at F&S in 2007. Most often, you’ll find Drew rigging and customizing Xpress boats, ensuring every detail is set up exactly to the owner’s vision. He is highly knowledgeable in the latest marine technology, including systems from Humminbird, Garmin, Minn Kota trolling motors, Power Pole, and Miller Tech Lithium Batteries.

Beyond rigging and electronics, Drew brings a wide range of hands-on skills to F&S. He designs, repairs, and custom-fits mooring covers and Bimini tops, and also handles upholstery repairs and fabrication. Drew came to F&S with prior marine industry experience and continues to sharpen his skills by attending Yamaha training classes every other year.

Scott Helwig Started at F&S in 2004 and is one of the Yamaha Certified Outboard Master Technicians here at F&S. He attends Yamaha training courses every other year to maintain his Master Technician certification and to stay up to date on the latest Yamaha products and technologies.

Scott is one of our primary technicians responsible for rigging new Bennington boats with outboards and advanced marine technology. In addition to his marine expertise, Scott has been snowmobiling his entire life and is highly knowledgeable in snowmobile service and repair.

Coming from an automobile dealership background, Scott brings a top-tier level of experience, precision, and technical knowledge to our service team.

Bud, more commonly known as “The IT Guy”, started at F&S in 2018 and is our Office Manager and finance guy. Working behind the scenes, Bud plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

If you’ve worked with us on financing, tags and titles, or ordering products through our eBay store, chances are you’ve already dealt with Bud.

Quinn Shumaker started at F&S in 2022 and is the newest member of our technician crew. Quinn is currently attending Yamaha training courses and working his way up the ladder to become a Certified Technician. A true jack of all trades, Quinn can be found anywhere from working underneath a trailer to safely operating the forklift around the shop. During the fall and end of the boating season, Quinn takes charge of shrink wrapping and ensuring our customers’ boats are properly prepared for winter storage. Beyond his technical skills, Quinn helps keep the shop atmosphere upbeat and brings a youthful spirit to the F&S team.

A skilled carpenter by day and an F&S employee by evening, Rob Chaney is a member of our evening crew since 2015. After putting in a full day at his carpentry job, Rob comes in on select evenings and gives us everything he’s got. He helps prepare boats for sale through detailed cleanups. We’re extremely fortunate to have someone like Rob, who’s willing to put in the extra effort, even after a full day’s work.

Cobie started at F&S in 2025 and is a recent graduate of Shippensburg University. He manages F&S’s social media accounts and also ensures that all trade-in boats are thoroughly cleaned, prepped, and ready to be listed and sold. Cobie grew up in the area and previously worked at AOS Marina at Codorus State Park before joining the F&S team. When he’s not at F&S, you can find him on the pickleball court! If you’re greeted by a four-legged friend when you walk into F&S, you’ve met Mosby. As our unofficial security system and favorite personality hire, Mosby keeps a watchful eye on the shop while spreading smiles to everyone he meets. He’s always happy to accept a friendly pet—unless, of course, you’re the mail carrier or delivery driver. To our UPS, FedEx, and USPS drivers reading this, we apologize if Mosby seems a bit standoffish at first; he just needs a little time to get to know you.

Logan Chaney, son of Rob Chaney, is also a member of the evening crew at F&S. Logan started with F&S in 2019. A recent graduate of York Tech, Logan also works a full-time job and comes in on select evenings to help clean boats and take care of any messes left behind. We appreciate Logan for spending his time off from his full-time job supporting the F&S team.

During the extremely busy fall and spring seasons, when hundreds of boats are hauled to and from storage, Tony and Mark step in to help transport boats from locations all over the region. Tony started in 2024, and Mark has been with us since 2017. We haul boats to and from Lake Marburg, Lake Heritage, Lake Meade, and even as far as Raystown. If you see an F&S truck hauling a boat in the spring or fall, chances are Tony or Mark are behind the wheel.
